Wow. what a success! A Great time was had by all at the Bearwood Handmade craft fair yesterday. As a first timer, you can imagine my nerves! would I sell well? had I enough stock? was my work even good enough? well the answer of course was yes! yippee. It was so nice to finally meet people in the flesh, like the lovely Jennie Sandford from The Crafty Muthas, who helped host the event. (www.craftymuthasbearwood.com) There was a whole range of products available from fresh bread from 'ubuntu bread' and cakes from Rachel to cast iron goods from a local blacksmith, Ian Moran. Jewellery was a big feature and the lady next to me Leigh H had a wonderful stash of hand drawn and painted art works for sale. The new venue fitted beautifully with the handmade theme, being a 1900's vaulted hall, painted bright green! funky! If you didn't make it yesterday then the next date is June 7th. Put it in your diaries!!
